ATLANTIC COASTAL REGION

Ken Church- Atlantic Coastal Regional Director

Ken Church, a lifelong resident of North Carolina, has joined ACG as a Regional Director in the mid-Atlantic area. Ken has served as a denominational director of men’s ministries for the past decade and has been a Bible teacher for more than 25 years. He has served in various leadership and ministry positions in the local church and as an Ambassador for Promise Keepers for several years.

Ken’s passion as a men’s leader and family man is to challenge Christian brothers to fulfill their God-given responsibilities to spiritually lead their wife and children, humbly serve the local church and be a bold witness for Christ in the marketplace. Intergenerational ministry seems to come naturally to Ken and Tammy, his wife of 26+ years, perhaps partially due to the fact that they have raised two beautiful daughters (Kathryn, 20, and Rebekah, 17) who are active in their local church. Ken is lovingly known as “Father Church” or “Daddy Church” to numerous young ladies from age 13 to 25. Ken and Tammy have also recently accepted a position of educational leaders in a young, growing church plant in Greensboro NC.

In addition to ministry service, Ken brings a variety of work/business experience to ACG. An award-winning writer, he has a journalism degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After a 10-year career as a reporter/assignment editor at a small newspaper, Ken turned to the insurance field, where he has helped people plan for the future with integrity for the past 18+ years. In September 2010, Ken and Tammy became the proud stewards – God is the owner – of the Ruby Rose Tea Room, rated the No. 1 restaurant of its kind in North Carolina by a national website (www.teamap.com).

Ken and family reside in the metropolis of Stoneville NC (pop. 1,000), located 30 minutes north of Greensboro and (for NASCAR fans) 20 minutes south of the Martinsville (VA) Speedway. He is active at New Life Fellowship in Reidsville NC and its Saturday night satellite, Impact Church of Greensboro. Even though no man on the planet has proved himself worthy to marry his daughters, Ken is expecting his first grand-pig in August.
